lifeboat called to wreckage in the Solent
A Hampshire lifeboat was launched after reports of wreckage in the Solent.
Lymington’s RNLI crew were called out to investigate debris floating in the water off Milford on Sea in the New Forest just after midday yesterday.
Working alongside the Coastguard helicopter, the crew was able to confirm that it was remnants from a fishing vessel that had been beached and broken up the previous evening in the Barton on Sea area.
