DELAYS in installing traffic lights and other improvements on a major route into Romsey have been criticised as “completely unsatisfactory for residents.”
Cllr Sean Woodward, executive member for economy, transport and environment at the county council, made the comments about works at Cupernham Lane/Winchester Hill junction.
The council is putting pressure on developers of the Abbottswood estate to complete the work, including a new retaining wall, without further delay.
