HAVING tackled rather more serious productions like Hamlet and Living Without Fear, rehearsals are now well under way for Blue Apple theatre’s summer comedy The Hotel, which opens at Theatre Royal Winchester next week.
An uproarious new farce inspired by the comedic genius of Georges Feydeau, it features improbable situations, mistaken identity, comic disaster and general pandemonium!
In The Hotel, love is tested, confusion reigns and the most unlikely partners find themselves thrown together in a night of intrigue and chaos. It is performed partly in French and will have audiences in stitches from Thursday to Saturday.
Think ‘Allo ‘Allo meets Fawlty Towers and add a bit of Blue Apple magic!
Blue Apple Theatre showcases the talents of actors and dancers with learning disabilities.
Formed eight years ago, the company has grown to a membership of 70 and in 2012-13 performed to over 3,500 people.
