A CELEBRATION of music from around the world will ring out across the town on Sunday.
Now in its eight year, the Eastleigh Mela is set to provide a mixture of music and performances with everything from a bhangra band to Irish dancers.
The Mela, held at Leigh Road recreation ground, is organised by the Asian Welfare and Cultural Association, which coordinates a range of events to engage with the local community.
This year music and performances include those from Brazil, India and China as well as the bhangra band, a steel band, Irish dancers and a samba band.
All this is alongside free activities for children, including sports, a climbing wall and kite making.
The day runs from 11am to 6pm.
