A WINCHESTER woman has been banned for 17 months after she was caught drink driving near her home.
Deborah Stanger, 42, of St Annes Close, Badger Farm, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. She was more than double the legal limit.
She was caught by police on June 7 driving a T-reg Rover 400 in Ashbarn Crescent.
A breath test revealed she had 84 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35.
Magistrates in Basingstoke also fined her £750, with a victim surcharge of £75 and costs of £85.
Stanger also admitted driving with no insurance and was fined an additional £750.
She was also fined £50 for failing to attend magistrates court.
