With just four days to go until the stampede charges on Southampton, rhino-mania is sweeping the region.
As the final touches are being made to the life-sized sculptures ahead of their official unveiling to the public, people everywhere are getting in on the rhino-based fun.
And making sure it is not left behind is Little Bee Bakery, in Rownhams, which is dishing up rhino-shaped biscuits to ensure as many people as possible get a taste of Marwell’s public art extravaganza – Go! Rhinos.
Each one will cost £1.50 with 50p from each biscuit going towards the three charities being supported by the Daily Echo-backed event, Wessex Heartbeat’s HIGH 5 Appeal, The Rose Road Association and Marwell’s conservation work.
The bakery will be selling biscuits at Oceans, in High Street, alongside the souvenir guides, plus other outlets within the city which will be announced soon.
Thirty-six life-sized rhinos, all decorated by artists and sponsored by businesses, will be showcased on the trail through Southampton, plus 61 mini rhinos designed by schoolchildren.
A special parade of some of the rhinos will be held in the city centre from 1pm today.
