POLICE are appealing for information after a series of break-ins and vandalism at a Hampshire business park.

The JPI warehouse at Barton Park Industrial Estate in Bishopstoke has been the target of a campaign of burglaries and criminal damage over the past 12 months.

The most recent incident occurred when the windows of two new £60,000 tractors were smashed on Sunday evening. Vandals had entered the site by pulling up and bending the fence at the front of the premises.

In May this year thieves stole an articulated lorry loaded with electrical items worth more than £30,000. A tractor was also stolen in April and later found dumped in Hertfordshire.

PC Alan Swanton said: "The most recent criminal damage is one of several incidents that have occurred at JPI Warehouse this year, including burglary and theft of vehicles.

"We are appealing for anybody working in or around the area to be aware of the surroundings and report any suspicious persons or vehicles."

Anyone with information about any of the incidents can call Eastleigh police station on 0845 045 4545, or Crimestop-pers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
