DISPLAYING a rubbish sense of style is not normally something to boast about.
But young fashionistas in Hampshire proudly took to the catwalk to show off their well-worn creations.
Models wore a vibrant range of recycled and upcycled clothes at the Care and Relief for the Young (CRY) fashion show at the Kings Community Church in Hedge End.
Dresses, shirts, shorts, hats and gilets were among the creations cut and fashioned from old charity shop clothes and jazzed up with glitter, paint and other accessories.
It raised £1,500 for the charity providing food, shelter and education for youngsters being cared for at the Hosanna Orphanage in Myanmar, and a little back dress worth £500 from Enliven is also being auctioned off for the group.
It was supported by the Wildern School, the Dart Centre, Gregg School and Southampton Solent University and organised by CRY worker Lindsay Snuggs.
