TWO separate crashes on a Hampshire motorway is causing delays of more than a hour this morning.
The first incident happened on the southbound M3, just after junction 12 for Eastleigh.
Lanes two and three and are blocked as a result of the collision, with traffic building as vehicles try and pass the scene in lane one.
Shortly afterwards, a second crash occured on the northbound carriageway, also at junction 12.
A van and a lorry were in collision at the start of the exit slip for junction 12, although it was possible to move these vehicles to the hard shoulder.
Traffic in the area is stacking up in both directions, with the northbound queues stretching back to the M27, with some delays of 70 minutes being reported.
Motorists are advised to leave extra time for their journeys.
