There’s a new class on the south coast which combines elegance and fitness with acrobatics and choreography.
Pole Silks is a brand new discipline fusing Pole Fitness with aerial silks, in which two silks are clamped to the top of a pole, providing another support system for the performer.
Not only is it a beautiful art in itself, it is also a brilliant way for people who use pole to get started in silks and a great tool to learn new moves in Pole Fitness.
In order to take classes in Pole Silks you must have a good basic level in pole, and you must be over 18 (or 16 and left school with parental consent.) Pole Silks classes will run at Julie’s Dance Studio in Sholing on Saturdays 1-2pm. There is also a mixed aerial arts class on Saturdays at 3-4.30pm, including aerial hoop, pole, pole silks and aerial yoga.
Call Julie on 07748841254 for more information.
