TEAMS are training for an inter-village competition based on a popular TV comedy game show.
Mike Horne is the man behind the Hampshire version of the former BBC TV show It’s a Knockout being held at Mottisfont.
His inter-village competition is on Sunday and will be in aid of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
“Teams taking part in the event at Mottisfont Village Hall, are Mottisfont, Dunbridge, Broughton, East Dean, East Tytherley and a joint team from Michelmersh and Timsbury.
Mr Horne said that he hoped the inter-village contest raises between £1,000 and £2,000 which will help keep Hampshire’s flying medics airborne.
Admission is £2 per adult, £1 per child and £5 per family and the competition gets under way at 1pm.
Spectators will be able to meet the teams at midday.
