THEY have come by limo, tractor, scooter and even on horseback.

Teenagers across Hampshire have been pulling out all the stops to make an impressive entrance at their school proms.

But top of the class was this beautiful vintage Rolls-Royce that took Madelaine McLachlan to the Bitterne Park School, Southampton, prom at the Ageas Bowl.

It was the same venue for this ice-cream van which was used by pupils from Thornden School in Chandler’s Ford.

Hundreds of youngsters have been celebrating their school proms across Hampshire – and the Daily Echo has been there to record the occasion.

These youngsters will be joined by a host of other schools in the Daily Echo’s second proms supplement, published tomorrow.
