A HAMPSHIRE pupil has shown mathematic prowess by scooping a silver medal in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
Sara Ha, a Year 8 pupil at The Mountbatten School, was one of the 1,200 students nationally that competed in the Olympiad.
Sara deserves much praise for achieving a silver medal, putting her amongst the best 180 students in the country.
Every year the highest performing pupils in Years 7 and 8 at The Mountbatten School in Romsey take part in the United Kingdom Mathematical Trust’s Junior Mathematical Challenge.
