THE family of a young father killed when he was hit by a car are organising a special event in his memory.
Steven Johnson’s mum, Ange Dandridge and his brother Sam have arranged a fun day tomorrow at the Saints pub in Millbrook.
The event has been organised to raise enough money to put a bench in Mansel Park in memory of Steven and to start up a trust fund for Steven’s one-year-old son Lewi.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend what is hoped to become an annual event tomorrow.
There will be face-painting, a bouncy castle and live music from local musicians, including from Steven’s childhood friend, Charley Macaulay who performed at his funeral in May.
