Students beef up bull for Mardi Gras
CREATIVE students have helped to beef up a Hampshire festival – by providing a colourfully decorated bull.
Traditionally a bull is used to lead Mardi Gras parades, so Eastleigh College students wanted to come up with their own version for the town’s extravaganza in September.
Eastleigh Mardi Gras organiser, Chris Thomas, said: “The bull looks fantastic and we are very grateful to the college for building it for us.”
The 5ft design will take pride of place at the front of the parade on September 14 and 15.
