A HAMPSHIRE school is unveiling its new outdoor classroom on tomorrow.
Wickham Primary School now has a wooden gazebo-style room built by local business Outdoor Places.
The design was chosen to encourage pupils to think about the environment and head teacher Maria Ackland said: “We believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability or circumstances.”
The classroom will be officially opened by the Rt Rev Christopher Foster, Bishop of Portsmouth.
