CARNIVAL-GOERS lit up the streets of Romsey at this year’s carnival.
Massive crowds lined the route for the annual parade, which saw numerous floats, bands and performers pass by.
The carnival included Romsey carnival queens and princesses as well as those from other villages including Bishop’s Waltham, Titchfield and Hedge End.
Braving the scorching heat were Romsey fire engines, who led the procession, a farm float, Hairspray-themed float, Air Ambulance float, cheerleaders and various homemade go-karts by the 3rd Romsey Scouts, including a yellow submarine and the mystery machine from Scooby Doo.
The Romsey Old Cadets band, complete with original members, celebrated its golden anniversary in style with middle-eastern inspired outfits to reflect the groups’s first-ever costumes.
