A HAMPSHIRE health boss has been named as one of the most inspirational women in healthcare.
Katrina Percy, chief executive of Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, has appeared on the influential list produced by the Health Service Journal.
All of the women on the list were nominated and recognised for their passion and ability to innovate and drive change in the industry.
Katrina has been the chief executive of Southern Health since its creation in April 2011.
She’s had the challenging task of bringing together two large organisations and forging a unified foundation trust, focusing on providing the best health and social care services for local people.
Katrina, who is currently on maternity leave, said: “I feel honoured to be named alongside such truly remarkable women.
“For me the really inspirational individuals are the staff who work with our patients and service users every day, who are passionate about delivering excellent quality services. I feel privileged to be able to lead an organisation full of such outstanding people – male and female.”
