TWO young men were rescued by firefighters when a lift jammed in a Southampton tower block.
The pair, believed to be in their 20s, became stuck between the fifth and sixth floors of the Redbridge Towers in Cuckmere Lane at midnight on Wednesday.
Crews from Redbridge and St Mary's fire station isolated the lift controls before using a special key to release them.
The men, who had been in trapped for more than 30 minutes, were uninjured.
Earlier at 7pm crews from St Mary's rescued a man in his 30s and two teenage children from a lift stuck between the first and second floors in Albion Towers in Golden Grove.
All trio who had been trapped there for 30 minutes, were also unharmed.
