EXPERIENCE a Victorian period photographic studio at the former maritime museum near Town Quay.
Travel back in time as artist and photographers Rob Luckins and Steph May take your portrait, set against a hand-painted Victorian style background at The Wool House.
Resident artist from Element Arts Steph May discovered she and Rob Luckins had a love for old photography and had both been researching old Southampton photographers and methods for many years while working together on the recent art exhibition at the Wool House. Both Rob and Steph will be on hand to discuss their inspirations behind the project and the history behind both old photographic processes and the many studios which existed in Southampton at the turn of the last century.
The Time Travelling Photographic Studio will be open on Sunday between 10.30am and 4pm and on August 4 and 11.
