THE Eastleigh Southern Parishes Older People’s Forum has held its annual meeting.
Presided over by Mayor of Eastleigh, Councillor Malcolm Cross, the meeting took place at the Pilands Wood Centre in Eastleigh and was attended by 40 members.
The annual report and audited accounts were adopted and a full complement of committee members was elected.
Speaker on the day was Graham Mylward, who talked about Hampshire County Council’s Older Driver Appraisals scheme.
The forum’s oldest member, Rhoda Binge of Netley Abbey, who had celebrated her 100th birthday earlier in the year, was congratulated by the mayor and presented with flowers.
