Warning against indoor barbecues renewed
POLICE are reminding campers about the deadly dangers of taking a barbecue inside as the summer holidays get under way in Hampshire.
Ringwood police are warning people to be on their guard with all fuel-powered camping equipment but especially smouldering barbecues which can give off lethal levels of carbon monoxide – the silent killer.
They say you should never consider taking the equipment into any tent, awning, mobile home or caravan.
