Two arrested after man attacked in city street
A MAN was being treated in hospital today after he was attacked during an incident in Southampton.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard a disturbance in Atherley Road in the Shirley area of the city that left a 26-year-old man with serious injuries to his back.
A man was seen running from the scene at around 7.30pm last night and officers are asking for anyone with information to contact them at Shirley CID.
Two men aged 29 and 34 were arrested and were today helping police with their inquiries.
