SHE will be pedalling up support for a blood cancer charity.
Southampton’s London 2012 Olympic gold medallist Dani King MBE, pictured, has today become the ambassador for national charity, Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research (LLR).
The 22-year-old team pursuit world champion will represent the charity and encourage people to take part in its cycling events and raise money to help the charity continue its life saving research as they work towards beating blood cancer.
Thousands of cyclists of all abilities will be getting on their bikes in September to take on three London routes at the annual London Bikeathon to help the charity hit its fundraising target of £750,000.
And cyclists are already signing up for the 280-mile London to Paris challenge which will be taking place over four days next June.
