AN NHS boss has described a Southampton university as having a leading role in health.
Dr Nicki Latham, chief operating officer of Health Education England, was speaking on the launch of Southampton Solent University’s new School of Health, Exercise and Social Science.
She said: “New universities have a real part to play in how we set up the new culture of the NHS. It’s so crucial that we spend this significant amount of money in the right way and we’re investing in the right people.”
