Victim sees burglar in act
A BURGLAR was confronted by a resident as he fled with cash and keys.
The thief had walked in through an open door at a flat in Foxbury Grove, Fareham while the occupant, a woman in her 60s, was at a neighbour’s.
She returned to find a man coming out of her bedroom.
He ran past her and out of the flat. He had taken a purse containing house keys and £30 in cash.
Police say the offender was a white man in his 20s, with short dark hair.
Witnesses to the incident, at 11.15am on July 14, should call police on 101.
