DETECTIVES investigating a knife attack against a jogger in Southampton have released an efit of a man they want to find.
Detectives at Bitterne today released the image following of wounding a woman on Southampton Common on the morning of Wednesday, July 17.
The man is described as white, aged in his late twenties, slim and 5ft 9-10ins tall. He has short dark blond hair and wore shorts and a blue sleeveless top. He has a tattoo on his right leg.
The 36-year-old victim was walking her dogs near the ornamental lake at about 9.30am, when she was approached from behind and stabbed in the lower back and cut on the arm.
The wounds were minor and treated at Southampton General Hospital.
Detectives are appealing for information from anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit. Anyone with information is asked to contact Operation Meld at Bitterne CID on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity line on 0800 555 111.
