A MAN who died in his sleep was found by his mother, an inquest heard.
Jonathan Poynter, 42, died on February 13 having suffered all his life from severe epilepsy, the coroner’s court was told.
Mr Poynter had been living with his parents in Pound Lane, Ampfield.
A pathologist’s report read out at the hearing in Winchester concluded that he died from unexplained death syndrome, the risk of which is greatly increased in those with epilepsy.
Grahame Short, coroner for central Hampshire, recorded a verdict of death due to natural causes.
