BURGLARS have taken valuables including jewellery from a Hampshire home.
They got in by smashing a window at the house, in Stubbington Lane, Fareham, and searched the house taking a gold sovereign coin, a pearl and gold bracelet, pearl necklaces and earrings.
The homeowner, a man in his 60s, noticed items were missing when he returned home from work.
Police believe the burglary took place between 8am and 1pm on Friday, August 2.
They are appealing for witnesses and information particularly anyone who saw anything suspicious, like a vehicle or person loitering around the area, to come forward.
