A HAMPSHIRE woman had a close shave when she lost her locks in the name of charity – and ended up with the same cut as her husband.
Tracey Ford had her head shaved to help two charities – Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and the Little Princess Trust.
The hospital will benefit from funds raised through the 39- year-old’s kind act, while her hair has been donated to the trust, which makes wigs for children who are undergoing cancer treatment or have alopecia.
The mum of one did the deed at the Nirvana Hair Salon in West Street Fareham.
Afterwards Tracey, from of Fareham, said: “I’ve been thinking about it for the last five or six years, as I wanted to do something for a cancer charity as I lost my mum to lung cancer seven years ago.”
