ANTI-nuclear campaigners in Southampton will host a vigil today in memory of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb victims.
Southampton Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) members will light paper lanterns at a ceremony in Friends Meeting House in Ordnance Road to mark the 68th anniversary of the bombing which signalled a cataclysmic end to the Second World War.
Doors open at 7pm before speeches from CND vice-president Bruce Kent and Southampton Sheriff Sue Blatchford.
