THERE’S no time to sit down while on the hunt for Southampton’s rhinos – as this photograph proves.

Little Harley Vanguard-Thomas feared he could be sat on as he took a break behind Rohan the rhino, found in the city’s East Park.

But the four-year-old, from Redbridge, soon had things under control, using his Crocodile Dundee taming techniques to get the ferocious Rohan under his control.

The youngster and his mum have been making the most of the Go! Rhinos trail since it launched last month and will continue to try and find asmany as they can before it ends on September 22.

Their latest sighting was Rohan, the rhino sponsored by Southampton Solent University and his design was inspired by the arid landscape often found throughout the African Plains.

His mum Elaine said: “We have been going out on the trail of the rhinos every Saturday to find the ones we haven’t spotted yet.

“Harley loves it and so do I. It is something different for the children and it’s free.”

They have become the latest entrants into the Daily Echo’s Go! Rhinos photo competition, looking for the most imaginative ways to have your picture taken with one of the rhinos, without touching it.

The winning photo will win a Junior Experience worth £150, which gives one lucky youngster an unforgettable opportunity to be a zookeeper for the day.

The best of the rest will appear in a special souvenir supplement of photographs at the end of the trail.
