Police operation to target joyriders
A GIRL aged just eight is one of a gang of youngsters behind a wave of dangerous joyriding plaguing three Hampshire communities.
Children are racing around the streets, riding on pavements and hurtling through alleyways on illegal motorbikes, mopeds and quad bikes.
They have sparked more than 70 complaints which yesterday culminated in a massive police operation involving the force helicopter.
Residents have spoken of their fears that someone will be injured if the culprits are not caught.
