A SOUTHAMPTON school is set for a face-lift.
Southampton City Council has won permission to carry out minor works at Bassett Green Primary School.
Permission has already been granted to build a new two-storey building that will contain seven classrooms to meet the growing demand for extra spaces.
The council has now won permission to alter the school’s appearance and design through rendering and adding new brickwork.
The authority says the changes will mean the new building will fit in better with the materials from which the rest of the school is built.
