THEY were at full stretch at a Hampshire beauty salon to meet a hair-raising challenge.
Staff at the Haven beauty salon in Fareham had set themselves the daunting task of seeing how many backs they could wax in one day in a sponsored session for charity.
They got the backing of about 40 volunteers, aged from their early 20s to their 60s.
Salon owner Suzanne Taylor and her staff, Natasha Mullard, Cassie Davies and Thea Leonard, were kept busy as they allocated about 15 minutes for each waxing.
The event was a fundraiser for the Make A Wish charity which makes dreams come true for youngsters battling with life-threatening illnesses.
