Notorious underground band Herman Dne have been named as the support act for the Kooks when they play the Guildhall this month.
Their new album, GIANT, due to be released on February 5, boasts a brand new percussion line-up with the vintage sound of horns, a brass section and vocal support of girl group, The Woo-Woos.
Living variously in Berlin, New York and Paris, the Herman Dne family gather to tour and record as often as possible and consist of brothers David-Ivar (guitar bass and vocals) and Andre (guitar, sax and vocals).
They have played together since early childhood with Nman on drums and their recent addition, younger sister Lisa, doing backing vocals.
Herman Dne have released several albums since their start in 2000, the most recent being Not On Top. They play all over the world and support the Kooks in Southampton on December 18.
