A HAMPSHIRE pre-school is finally getting a place to call home after more than 20 years.
Toddlers attending Horns Drove Community Pre-school in Rownhams have had to share the community centre with other groups and organisations.
Pre-school staff have had to set up every day and pack away all evidence of the pre-school when they leave Horns Drove Community Centre.
Now, the 74 children and eight staff are getting their very own building where they can display their work and make as much mess as they like.
The pre-school has taken out a £90,000 loan and has also been helped by a grant from SureStart.
The new timber lodge building is in the grounds of Rownhams St John's CE Primary School and is due to open in the new year.
It will house the pre-school sessions on weekdays plus after-school sessions from 3pm to 6pm for the school's pupils.
