A HOUSEHOLDER has been allowed to keep a fence that was built without planning permission.
A proposal to retain the fence at Blandfords Cottage in Salisbury Road, Breamore, was rejected by New Forest District Council earlier this year but the applicant lodged an appeal.
Government-appointed planning inspector Martin Andrews has overturned the council’s decision.
He described the fence as an “appropriate and logical boundary".
