POLICE have warned a Southampton man wanted for a recall to prison that he could see his friends and family jailed for up to 10 years if they help him hide from the authorities.
Michael Green, 22, formerly of Sedbergh Road, Southampton, was released from prison on licence in February this year.
The licence was revoked earlier this month and he is unlawfully at large.
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Paul Gelman said: “Michael, please hand yourself in at the nearest police station.
“Your actions could lead to your loved ones or friends facing up to ten years' imprisonment for knowingly letting you stay with them or assisting you in evading the police.”
Anyone with information about Michael Green's location is asked to contact the Offender Management Team at Southampton Central on 101 or ring the anonymous Crimestoppers charity line on 0800 555 111.
