THE centenary of Hamptworth Lodge itself will be celebrated at the annual country fayre on the estate, south of Salisbury.
The rebuilt Jacobean manor house sits in the middle of the 3,000 acre estate, which hosts the ninth successive event tomorrow.
The programme boasts over 60 trade stands and a fantastic programme of arena events running throughout the day. More children’s activities have been added including a traditional Punch and Judy show and a gathering of American miniature horses.
The fayre also includes displays of traditional crafts, gundog scurries, ferret racing, gundog and falconry displays, sheepdog handling and duck herding, a hound parade with The New Forest hounds and beagles, a 50 bird sporting clay shoot, have-a-go archery and fly fishing and a variety of food and drink.
