FOUR Southampton cyclists rode from one tip of Britain to the other in ten days to raise money for charity.
The riders, who started at John O’Groats, Scotland, and finished at Land’s End, Cornwall, raised more than £5,000 for Lupus UK.
Lupus is an autoimmune condition that can sometimes cause lifethreatening problems such as kidney failure or heart disease.
Cyclists Rob and Alex Cochrane, Gary Hawkes and Eric Chalmers rode more than 900 miles and climbed hills totaling 59,000 feet.
The team were supported by their friend Dave Llewellyn, who drove in his van behind them, carrying spare bike parts in case anything went wrong.
However, their ride was a success as they travelled more than 90 miles per day. To donate to their cause, visit justgiving.com/cochraneJOGLE.
