A TEENAGER was injured when she was hit by a car on the Isle of Wight.
Police are appealing for a motorist to come forward after the 13-year-old received injuries in a road traffic collision close to the Newport Crematorium.
She was crossing the road with friends near the bus stop between midnight and 1am when the incident happened on August 12.
The motorist stopped at the scene and took the girl to hospital, where she was treated for ankle and hip injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for the driver and any other witnesses to come forward.
