DEVELOPERS are turning back the clock to convert offices back into homes in Winchester city centre.
Hythe Marine Services has been given permission by planning officers under delegated powers to convert Walcote Chambers, a Georgian building on the High Street, back into homes. The proposal will see the offices turned into three houses, one of five bedrooms, one of three and one of two.
In addition, Padham Properties has permission for three flats at 71a Parchment Street.
Concept Design & Planning is set to change offices into a four-bedroom house at the Ancient Order of Foresters Friendly Society, 6-7 St Clement Street. And Tri-Style Investments Ltd can convert the first, second and third floors to five self-contained flats at 6 Jewry Street.
