SOUTHAMPTON Choral Society need men by the score!
Male voices, anyone with a tenor or bass voice, would be welcomed with open arms by musical director Peter Gambie for the next concert, Rachmaninoff Vespers to be performed on October 19 at St Mary’s Church, Southampton.
The choir already has ladies who sing with the men, a lady tenor and a lady bass at present, so ladies would not be excluded if they can reach the depths.
Rachmaninoff Vespers is a vibrant, colourful and dramatic work with beautiful harmonies and amazing depth.
Rehearsals take place at St James Methodist Church in Shirley each Monday from 7.15pm.
