IT is a walk which will explore a Hampshire Second World War airfield and its heritage.
On August 24, the Forestry Commission will hold a four hour walk that will look at Stoney Cross Airfield in the New Forest.
It starts at Stoney Cross car park, just off the A31, and it is from 10am to 2pm. It costs £10 per person to attend, with a minimum age of 12. Booking is essential and can be done by calling 023 8028 6840.
