Vivid wildlife and quirky street characters will take over the community room at a Southampton park in early September.
More than 40 talented photographers from the EU community will display their works at St James Park.
The 60-photograph exhibition and rolling digital display will include moody portraitures, atmospheric scenes of the New Forest and more.
It was organised by EU Welcome and is set to engage members of the city’s newest communities in the life of the busy park.
It will launch with activities that include face painting for children on August 31 and a local Polish band playing the afternoon of September 1 in the centre of the park. The ParkLife Café menu will also have a European flavour during the two-week event.
Tania Emery, chairman of the Friends of St James’ Park, said: “It’s wonderful to be able celebrate another aspect of Southampton’s diversity in an event that shows off some incredible local talent.”
The exhibition is funded by Lankelly Chase as part of a project that aims to widen participation in the park.
It will be open from 11am to 5pm from August 31 to September 13 and is free to enter.
