A former health clinic in Southampton could become flats.
Plans have been handed in to the city council to knock down the vacant building in Archers Road and replace it with 14 homes.
The Southampton Podiatry Centre was built in 1987, but its services were eventually relocated to the Western Hospital site in Millbrook, and it has been empty for the past two years.
Developer Orchard Homes, which is building a 96-flat development at the former Hendy Ford garage site in Shirley, has now approached the authority with plans to overhaul the site.
If its plans are approved, the firm will knock down the health clinic building and build a new three-storey building containing ten two-bedroom flats.
The site would also contain three two-storey houses and a bungalow, as well as associated parking.
A decision is due by November 18.
