About 30 bikes have been stolen from a cycle hire shop in Hampshire.
Thieves targeted Cycle Experience in Brockenhurst and made off with a range of bikes in what police are describing as a “huge loss” for a small business.
The offenders forced the doors to the office and stole the keys to the lockups where the cycles were kept.
Det Con Matt Bevan, of British Transport Police, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the time of the thefts.
“This was a huge loss for the small business and the theft of the cycles is bound to have an impact - especially at this peak time of year.
“I would encourage anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the time, around Brockenhurst railway station and the Lymington Road area, to get in contact with us.”
The theft occurred on the night of August 7-8 but details have only just been released.
