IF you know of an unsung hero, then Fareham Council wants to hear from you.
Citizens are being asked to nominate a friend, neighbour, colleague or family member for public recognition for the unselfish acts or bravery they have shown.
Nomination packs are available for the 2007 Citizens of Honour and Young Person of the Year Awards. They can be picked up from the Citizen of Honour display in Fareham Shopping Centre on Tuesday, December 19.
The council's executive leader, Councillor Sen Woodward, said: "The Citizens of Honour and Young Person of the Year Awards give people the chance to say a public thank you."
The closing date for nominations is Friday, January 26, 2007.
