A YOUNG student visiting Southampton from her native Zimbabwe was robbed of her mobile phone as she walked through a city park.
The 21-year-old was browsing on her phone as she made her way through Hoglands Park when a man on a bike rode past and tried to grab it from her hand.
The victim managed to keep hold of it, but the thief got off his bike and pushed her in the chest, causing her to fall over.
As she hit the ground she dropped her Samsung S4 phone and the man made off with it.
The theft happened at about 5.45pm on August 17.
The man is described as white, skinny and in his early 20s. He was wearing a dark hooded top and jogging bottoms. Call police on 101.
